Z-Fx is a one person operation started in 2017.  All pedals are designed and hand built in Erie, PA.

The first operational guitar pedal I made was an AB Switch with some of the worst wiring ever.  It was not pretty, but it worked and that having a functional pedal that I made was a great feeling.  After that I tried building some pedal kits and etching my own circuit boards.  At some point I realized that I could sell some of my old pedals to finance my new builds.  I then started to learn how to design PCBs for custom pedals for better manufacturing process and I started selling pedals as Z-Fx Pedals in 2018.
